Anyone can participate in Oceana Natural Food Cooperative by making an annual membership contribution of $24. New members may join any time. Memberships cover all members in a household. Seniors and Oregon Trail Card members may receive membership at no charge.

Members are entitled to member-only prices on monthly sale items in the Grocery , Personal Care, Supplement and Housewares departments. Members may also special order from our wholesale catalogs at a mark-up of 30%. This is a price reduction for all items throughout the store except some Dairy items.

Members may give their input about Oceana at the Annual Membership Meeting, which is usually held in October or November.

Occasionally, the membership may be asked to vote on important issues according to the corporation's bylaws. Members may also contribute by volunteering for a limited number of tasks at the store including recycling, repacking, etc. Four hours of volunteer time earns a member a 5% discount for the month following time worked. Eight hours worked earns a 10% discount.
